Students are assigned to specific grade levels when they have earned the appropriate number of credits. Students will be placed in the proper grade at the beginning of the school year. They will remain in that grade level and participate in the activities of the grade level for the remainder of the school year. Students falling behind in credits my attend summer school and/or may enroll in HHS Credit Recovery Program to earn additional credits.

Freshman..............................	Promotion to 9th grade or 0-5 credits
Sophomore............................	5.5 -11.5 credits
Junior.....................................	12 - 20 credits
Senior....................................	20 or more credits
