iPad Assistance – Activating Apps on school purchased iPads:
Activating Apps on student iPads (Step-by-step instructions at bottom of page)
Professional staff should activate ALL apps pushed to student iPads via the self-service app. Each campus has its unique username and login. When activating apps on student iPads, use appropriate username and password for the designated campus to which the iPads are assigned.
Activation codes ARE NOT to be given to students. For security and management purposes, only professional staff should have access to activation codes.

Activating Apps on teacher iPad
Professional staff should activate ALL apps pushed to school purchased teacher iPads via the self-service
app. Each campus has its unique username and login (see chart above). Teachers may use this code, or
they can use their personal iTunes account to activate apps on their personal iPad or a designated school
purchased teacher iPad.
Activating Apps from Self Service
FREE Apps:
1. Select self-service icon.
2. Select App from list (touch name of app).
3. App description should appear….select FREE….then INSTALL APP.
4. If prompted select “Use existing account”.
5. Apple login screen will appear, campus user name will appear, enter appropriate password.
6. Download should begin.
Purchased Apps:
1. Select self-service icon.
2. Select App from list (touch Redeem).
3. If prompted select “Use existing account”.
4. Apple login screen will appear, campus user name will appear, enter appropriate password.
5. Download should begin.
Updating Apps
If updates are needed, update from APP Store, not through “self-service”.
*Upgrades completed during summer months may result in minor changes to processes given above.
