I am passionate about working with students and helping them discover their strengths and confidence. My goal is to create a classroom where every child feels valued, supported, and excited to learn each day.

Alisa Guajardo
Peavy Primary

My name is Ms. Jones, and I am so excited to teach First grade at Peavy Primary! I recently graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University and completed a yearlong teaching residency with Lufkin ISD. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and being outdoors. I am especially excited to return to the district that helped shape me into the person I am today. Hudson has always held a special place in my heart, and I am honored to have the opportunity to give back to the community that raised me while supporting and encouraging its students

My name is Kristy Sullivan and I just completed my 27th year of teaching. I’m happy to be joining the fourth grade math team at Bonner Elementary in August. Both of my parents were teachers and I feel blessed to still love going to work each day. This past year I taught in Melissa ISD and we are in the process of buying a house in Lufkin. My husband and I just celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary and he was recently hired as the new Hudson boys basketball coach. Our oldest son is a musician and lives in Lubbock. Our youngest son just graduated high school and will be playing basketball at ETBU in the fall. In my spare time I enjoy spending time outside doing yard work and watching movies with my husband and our two dogs. We are both excited to be part of Hudson ISD!
