Instructional Coaching equips and empowers teachers to be the best teachers they can be through professional growth and personal development.  The program exists to provide one-one-one, personalized, relevant professional development and support to every teacher.  By supporting every teacher, we support every student as we improve instruction to ultimately improve student learning.

Function
The role of Instructional Coach at Hudson ISD exists to support faculty in instructional practices. The Instructional Coach helps teachers set and meet professional goals for teaching and instruction and facilitates intentional reflection on instructional practices. The Instructional Coach offers in-house professional learning for teachers and staff in large groups, small groups, and one-on-one settings, and he/she provides research-based instructional strategies to improve student learning. The Instructional Coach provides positive and constructive feedback to teachers in a non-evaluative administrative role.
