SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION
The Board of Trustees consists of seven members elected by position to serve without compensation for overlapping terms of three years each.
The general election of board members shall be on the May uniform election date.

Application Process:
Candidate application packets can be picked up in person at Hudson ISD Administration Building located at 6735 Ted Trout Drive, Lufkin, TX 75904.
First day to file: Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
Last day to file: Friday, February 13, 2026.
Office Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (01/14/2026 – 02/12/2026) and 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (2/13/2026)

Hours for Early Voting and Election Day
VOTING LOCATION: Hudson ISD Board Room, 6735 Ted Trout Drive, Lufkin, TX 75904
- Early Voting (by Personal Appearance):
Early voting will be conducted on weekdays from Monday, April 20, 2026, through Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Early voting will not be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, in observance of San Jacinto Day.
- Election Day:
Saturday, May 2, 2026
Polls will be open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
