Board Elections
SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION
The board of Trustees consists of seven members elected at large to serve without compensation for overlapping terms of three years each. The general election of board members shal be on the May uniform election date. The candidates receiving the hightes number of votes for the number of seats with expiring terms shall be elected.

Application Process:
Candidate application packets can be picked up in person at Hudson ISD Administration Building located at 6735 Ted Trout Drive, Lufkin, TX 75904.
First day to file: Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
Last day to file: Friday, February 13, 2026.
Office Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (01/14/2026 – 02/12/2026) and 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (2/13/2026)
